NASA's 100-Year Starship Project Sets Sights on Interstellar Travel!

Yes, NASA's budget may not be what it once was, but I love the ambition here! So i probably wont be able to see the fruits of this projects labor, it's still cool. They are currently in a year long study phase to look into how they can obtain money from investors and private companies currently.

But regardless, I'm excited for what the future can bring. And, who knows, maybe there will be a technological breakthrough that will allow to see them travel among the stars. This mission is a great way to potentially unlock more secrets from the universe!

  5. Man...I am usually a cup-half-full guy, but when NASA cut the shuttle program, and congress did its usual thing (cutting the budget for NASA), I was sad. I'm not "proud to be an American" (I didn't choose to be born here, how can I be PROUD?) but...I admit my pride was dented when all that went down.

THIS? This makes me happy! Thanks for the update, man!

  8. Think about all the progress we have been doing for the last 50 years, but what will be not be able to do in 100 more? or 200? its weird to think about. Because we have invented everything right? RIGHT?
