Is gasoline going to prevent Obama's second term?


I just paid to have my truck filled and it cost over $80.00. And there was still a good bit left. Seeing how the gas prices are rising so much, with no end in site, i decided to do a little research with what high gas prices has lead to in the past. 

Probably not to many peoples surprise, there is a striking correlation (especially during George W. Bush's term) between presidential approval rating and gasoline prices. The more the gasoline rises, the lower the approval rating becomes.

Let us not forget, straight from the horses mouth, Obama said that "Under my plan, energy prices will necessarily sky rocket." Energy prices, ala gas prices, HAVE TO SKY ROCKET, to satisfies this regimes goals. Which means for us: more taxes, less jobs, less money. But hey, at least the government has more power over our lives! That's what we all really want, right?

    I personally try and walk everywhere I can. Work, store, ect. I hate driving. (i'm a poor college kid :()

    I kind of hope obama makes it.. well i just hope mrs. pallin doesn't get in.

    I paid just over $60 to fill up my minivan last week. I’m not a happy camper. That's the most I've ever paid.

    I dont own a car, but blaming everything on Obama is too easy, dont you think? Despite popular believe, he does not Control the Gas prices. He may have influence on them, but control? definitely not!

    You Americans think you have it bad? We pay £1.25 per litre... I believe that's $2 a litre. We got screwed. lol
